What it covers

Anything with a plug or a battery in it has to be kept out of general waste, which is the reason a house clearance always seems to end with a pile of old televisions, kettles, printers, lamps and a strimmer that nobody knows what to do with. Electrical waste goes for recycling, where the metals and the plastics are separated, and that is where ours goes. We collect it from inside the house or the office, a single television or a room full of old computers, and price it off our own list or as a load if there is a lot of it. A microwave or a garden electrical appliance is £18, a washing machine £45, plus a call-out charge from £50 depending on where you are. Offices clearing out old equipment are priced by the load like any commercial clearance. Two things we cannot take: fluorescent tubes, and anything that is still plugged in or wet. One old television or a store room full of monitors and printers. A large amount from an office is priced as part of an office clearance. Fluorescent tubes, car batteries, and anything still plugged in or wet. If you are not sure, send a photo and ask. Anything that can be used again goes to local charities and to people who are homeless, and what can be recycled is recycled.

I've used this service twice to collect bulky rubbish from my front garden and they've been fantastic both times. Very quick service, take very bulky items and very quick turnaround. Definitely recommend.

Complete Waste Management were brilliant!!! The whole team were totally amazing! From the lovely lady who took our booking and who could not have been more helpful, to the team who came out to do the job. They were fast, efficient, polite and helpful and all areas were left clean and tidy. We would most definitely use Complete Waste Management again and from our experience, we would certainly recommend them. To the whole team, thank you!

Questions

Do you take old computers from an office?

Yes. A few items off the list, or as part of an office clearance priced by the load.

What happens to the electricals?

They go for recycling, where the metal and the plastic are separated, not into general waste.

What can you not take?

Fluorescent tubes, car batteries, and anything still plugged in or wet.
