Load sizes and prices

Almost nobody in this trade puts a figure on a page. We publish two lists: six load sizes for clearing a room, a garage or a garden, and a price for every item if you just want particular things taken. Both are below.

These are the load prices off our own price list. You are told the load size and the price before anything is booked, so there is nothing to work out at the end of the job.

Try the price calculator What the price covers

Tick off what you have got and it works out the load size and the price. It is an indication and we confirm it before anything is booked.

What the price covers

  • The labour. We do the carrying, not you.
  • The loading, and sweeping up behind it.
  • Taking it away and disposing of it.

How to know which size you need

You do not have to work it out. Tick off what you have got and the booking tool works out the load size, shows you the price above and lets you pick a day. Or send a photograph of the pile, the room or the garden on WhatsApp and we come back with the load size ourselves.

Single materials

Clean wood and hardcore are priced separately because they are sorted loads and go to a different place. If a load is mixed, it is priced by the load sizes above.

Get a price for your load

Three short fields, or send a photo and skip the form entirely.

Three fields, all short. It comes straight to us and we come back to you with a written price. Nothing is shared with anyone else.

Or price it yourself, right now

Tick off what needs taking and the tool works your price out two ways, off our collection list and off our load sizes, and shows you the cheaper one. Then pick a day. It takes about a minute and you do not have to wait for anybody.

Or send a photo, which is quicker

  • A photo tells us the load size straight away, so you get a real price instead of a range.
  • You are not asked to guess whether it is a half load or a full one. That is our job.
  • The price you are given is the price you pay, and it covers the labour and the disposal.
  • It goes straight to us, not to a call centre, and we are the ones who come back to you.

Not a whole load? We price by the item too

This is our collection list. It is for when you want particular things taken away rather than a room or a garage cleared. Pick out what you have got and add it up, or let the booking tool do it and tell you which of the two works out cheaper.

Twelve jobs, shown twice

Every one photographed from the same spot before and after.

Load prices published

Six load sizes with the figures on the page, not on request.

A price before it is booked

You get the load size and the figure in writing first.

Essex, London, Hertfordshire

Ten towns have their own page. Domestic and commercial.

How a job actually runs

Four steps, in this order. Nothing starts until you have the price.

Start one
  1. Tell us what needs shifting

Ring us, send a photo on WhatsApp, or fill in the three fields on any page. A photo is quickest, because we can see the load size straight away.

  2. We come back with a price

The load size and the figure, in writing, before anything is booked. You are not asked to guess whether it is a half load or a full one.

  3. It gets carried out and loaded

Out of the room, the garage, the garden or the unit, down the stairs if that is what it takes, and swept up behind.

  4. It goes to a transfer station

It is taken away and disposed of, and what can be recycled is recycled.

What a cleared load looks like

Three of the twelve. The figure above buys the right-hand frame.

Questions we get asked

Ask us something else
What does the price cover?

The labour, the loading, sweeping up behind and taking the waste away. You are given the load size and the price in writing before anything is booked.

How do I know which load size I need?

You do not have to work it out. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we come back with the load size and the price. That is the quickest way to get a real figure rather than a range.

Do you do commercial work as well as houses?

Both. Household clearances and garden waste, and commercial units, strip outs and land clearing for businesses.

What if there is no access round the back?

Then it is carried out to the vehicle by hand, which is most of the work in the older streets. Stairwells and side passages are normal, not extra.

What happens to the waste after it leaves?

It is taken to a transfer station and disposed of, and what can be recycled is recycled.

Which areas do you cover?

Essex, London and Hertfordshire. Ten towns have their own page on this site, and if you are just outside one of them it is still worth ringing to ask.
