What it covers
Land clearance is what a garden clearance becomes when nobody has been there for years. Grass and weeds above waist height, brambles through the fence, saplings where there used to be a lawn, and usually something under all of it: dumped bags, old fencing, a collapsed shed, rubble from a job that finished a long time ago. It is the first job on a plot that is being sold or built on, and on the strip of land behind a house that the owner has finally decided to use. We cut it back, clear what is growing and what has been left there, load it all and take it away, and the ground is left as bare earth or back to the hardstanding underneath. Because no two plots are alike, land clearance is quoted in writing from photos, a video or a visit rather than off the load list, and the price includes taking every bit of it away. Overgrown ground nearly always hides waste. We clear both in the same visit, and tell you straight away if anything we cannot take turns up. Cleared so the surveyor, the buyer or the builder can see the ground they are dealing with. Anything that can be used again goes to local charities and to people who are homeless, and what can be recycled is recycled.
