A strip out is the fit-out coming out: the units, the tiles, the ceilings, the floors and the partitions, carried out and taken away so the builders start on a clean shell. Small structures come down the same way: a shed, a garage, a conservatory, a hot tub on the patio. Anything load-bearing waits for your engineer's design and building control, and we work to it. A strip out is the part of a building job nobody photographs and everybody needs. Before the new kitchen goes in, the old one comes out: the units, the worktops, the tiles and the floor. Before a shop can be fitted for a new tenant, the old shop fit, the ceiling grid and the partitions have to go. And before a garden can have its new room, the old shed, the garage or the conservatory has to come down. We do that part, carefully and in order, carry it all out, load it and take it away, and leave a clean shell or a clear piece of ground for whoever comes next. Services are made safe by your engineer first, anything load-bearing waits for a structural design, and anything that might be asbestos waits for a survey and a licensed specialist, because that is the one thing we cannot take.
