Professional shed clearance

Some sheds just need emptying. Others have given up and need taking down. We do both, from a tired garden shed to a derelict outbuilding, and take every piece of it away.

More about it

There are two jobs here. Emptying a shed is a load size off the price list. Taking the shed down is a job of its own, and a photograph of it from the garden tells us which you have.

BeforeBefore. A dark timber shed with its door off in a sunny back garden
AfterAfter. The same garden with the shed gone and bare ground where it stood, the bench still beside it

Our job: the shed, then the ground it stood on. Same garden, the second photograph from further back. Not a stock picture.

  • Sheds emptied to bare boards
  • Rotten and derelict sheds taken down
  • Derelict outbuildings taken down and cleared
  • Mowers, tools, pots and garden furniture
  • Every panel and sheet taken away
  • With the garden or the house, or on its own

I've used this service twice to collect bulky rubbish from my front garden and they've been fantastic both times. Very quick service, take very bulky items and very quick turnaround. Definitely recommend.

Very nice guys. They were on time, very polite and worked very fast and clean. They left no mess, went above and beyond. Our garden hasn’t looked so tidy in years. Very professional trustworthy team. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Complete Waste Management were brilliant!!! The whole team were totally amazing! From the lovely lady who took our booking and who could not have been more helpful, to the team who came out to do the job. They were fast, efficient, polite and helpful and all areas were left clean and tidy. We would most definitely use Complete Waste Management again and from our experience, we would certainly recommend them. To the whole team, thank you!

More about shed clearance

Emptying a shed

The mower, the strimmer nobody can start, the pots, the tins, the bike, the deckchairs. All of it out, and the shed swept to bare boards.

Taking it down

A shed that is rotten through is taken apart, panel by panel, and every piece goes on the vehicle. What is left is the base it stood on; say if that has to go too.

BeforeBefore. A collapsed timber outbuilding at the end of a plot, behind a fence
AfterAfter. The same plot with the outbuilding gone and bare earth where it stood

Our job: a collapsed outbuilding taken down and cleared to bare earth. Same plot, the second photograph a few steps closer. Not a stock picture.

Outbuildings, not just sheds

Some of the jobs in this part of the work are bigger than a garden shed. One of ours, in the photographs on this page, was a timber outbuilding at the end of a plot that had collapsed in on itself, with years of rubbish inside it and the roof sheets hanging off; it was taken down and cleared to bare earth, and the plot could be used again. Most are smaller: a lean-to that has gone soft at the corners, a summer house nobody sits in, a shed that blew over in a storm and has been lying across the lawn since. Each is priced from a photograph taken from the garden, with a second one of the inside if it is still full. If the roof is old corrugated sheeting, photograph it and ask before the day, because some old sheeting has to be dealt with by a specialist and we would rather tell you that up front than on the morning. If the only way out of the garden is through the house, say so when you send the photographs.

Where it goes

Timber, glass, metal and the rest are taken to a transfer station and what can be recycled is recycled.

Questions people ask

Can you take the shed down as well as emptying it?

Yes. Emptied, taken apart and every piece taken away.

Do I need to empty it first?

No. What is inside goes with it.

What about the base it stands on?

Say whether it has to go when you send the photograph, and the price covers it if it can be done.

The roof is old corrugated sheeting. Is that a problem?

Photograph it and ask before the day. Some old sheeting has to be dealt with by a specialist.

How is a shed clearance priced?

Emptying it is a load size off the price list, from from £99.99. Taking it down is priced from a photograph. Nothing to pay until the job is done.

Can you clear the garden at the same time?

Yes. Green waste, old fencing and slabs can go in the same visit.

Or send a photo, which is quicker

  • A photo tells us the load size straight away, so you get a real price instead of a range.
  • You are not asked to guess whether it is a half load or a full one. That is our job.
  • The price you are given is the price you pay, and it covers the labour and the disposal.
  • It goes straight to us, not to a call centre, and we are the ones who come back to you.
