Privacy
Short version: the form sends your details to us so we can quote your job. Nothing else happens to them.
What is collected
The quote form asks for your name, your phone number and your town or postcode, plus an optional description of the work. That is all it collects.
Where it goes
The form is delivered by FormSubmit, which passes the message to infocwm@icloud.com. It is used to quote and carry out your job. It is not sold, and it is not passed to anyone else for marketing.
Analytics
This site uses Vercel Analytics, which counts page views and a small number of events such as taps on the phone number. It does not use cookies, it does not follow you across other websites, and it does not identify you.
Google Ads
We advertise on Google, and this site loads Google's advertising tag. It records whether a visit came from one of our adverts and whether it led to a call, a quote request or a WhatsApp message, so we can see which adverts bring work in and stop paying for the ones that do not. To do that Google sets its own advertising cookies and, for visitors who came from an advert, shows a Google forwarding number in place of ours, which rings straight through to us. It does not see anything you type into a form. Google's own terms cover what it does with that information.
What other companies load on these pages
A few things on this site are served by somebody else, and it is worth being plain about which. The bottom of the home page shows our recent Facebook and Instagram posts as pictures loaded from Facebook’s and Instagram’s own servers, and only once you have scrolled near that part of the page, so somebody who reads the top and rings the number never fetches them at all. No Facebook code runs here and no cookie is set by it: the pictures are fetched the way any picture on any page is, and Facebook or Instagram can see that a browser asked for them and nothing more, the same as if you had opened the post yourself. The photographs beside our Google reviews come from Google, because that is where the reviews are and the reviewers’ own profile pictures sit on Google’s servers. The map in the home page’s Covering band is Google Maps itself, loaded from Google only as you scroll near it, and Google may read or set its own cookies there. All of them are on their terms rather than ours, all of them are pictures, posts and a map rather than anything about you, and nothing you type into any form on this site goes near any of them: the forms talk to FormSubmit and to nobody else. If you would rather not load the posts at all you can read them on our Facebook page instead, and the rest of this site works exactly the same without them.
The size estimate
If you use the size estimate, that one photo is sent to Anthropic’s API to be read for a load size and is not kept by them for training. None of it is sold or passed on for marketing.
Getting your details removed
Ring 07523 280964 or email infocwm@icloud.com and ask, and they will be deleted.
