What it covers

When a pub or a restaurant changes hands, the new operator rarely wants the old one's kitchen, and the brewery or the landlord rarely wants to pay for it to sit there. Clearing one is heavy work in tight spaces: stainless steel benches and sinks, extraction hoods, fryers and ranges, bar counters and back bars, cellar cooling, glass washers, tables, chairs, stools and banquette seating, and the stockroom nobody has looked in since the last stocktake. We carry it all out, down from the first floor or up from the cellar, and take it away, with anything that holds refrigerant sent for proper treatment. It is priced from £395, by the load and never by the day, quoted in writing from photos or a visit, and a waste transfer note comes with it. If the flat or the rooms upstairs are being cleared at the same time, they go on the same quote and the same visit. Benches, sinks, ranges, fryers, hoods and cold rooms, once the gas and power have been made safe by an engineer. Tables, chairs, stools, banquettes, the bar and the back bar, and the cellar cleared to the floor. Anything that can be used again goes to local charities and to people who are homeless, and what can be recycled is recycled.
