Chigwell Road does not take commercial waste at all

The East London Waste Authority is explicit: commercial waste is not accepted at the Chigwell Road centre, and it points businesses at Frizlands Lane, Gerpins Lane or Jenkins Lane instead. Every one of those is in another borough and every one is a paid trade route rather than a free one.

The vehicle rules close the door from the other side as well. Chigwell Road allows nothing over 3,500kg, no Luton, no tail lift and no tipper, and there are number plate cameras on the site specifically to catch commercial waste coming in. A shop being emptied over a weekend has no version of that route available to it.

So it leaves on a vehicle, is sorted, and anything recyclable comes out before the rest goes for disposal. The load size and the figure come in writing before anything starts, and inside the ULEZ the £12.50 line is on that quote rather than added later.
