Linford, and the permit it wants for a van
Thurrock has one household waste and recycling centre, on Buckingham Hill Road at Linford, which is a drive out of Grays and can only be entered heading north from Linford. It is free and needs no booking, but a van or a trailer needs a valid permit, nothing over 3,500kg and no Luton van gets through the gate, you need proof of a Thurrock address, and trade waste is not accepted and will be challenged. That covers a car of garden bags. It does not cover a garage full of somebody else's things, the waste from a builder, or anybody who does not want to make the trip. We take those, loaded from wherever they are and taken on one visit, and price them by the load off our list, from £99.99 for a Mini Load including VAT. Linford needs a permit for a van or trailer and refuses trade waste and anything over 3,500kg. We need none of that from you. Every load is priced before we start, and nothing is paid until it has gone.
