A community tip and a kerbside collection
Newmarket's own recycling site is a community site rather than a council-run one, and it may charge, and West Suffolk's bulky collection only takes items from the bin collection point, put out by 6.30am, in bands of five. Neither is built for the jobs we get called to here, which are the bigger ones: a garden or a paddock edge that has been left, a yard full of old timber and fencing, the waste from a refit, or a house's worth of furniture that has to be gone before a new tenant moves in. We load from wherever it is, carry it out of the house or the yard ourselves, and take it on one visit. It is priced by the load off our list, from £99.99 for a Mini Load to £699.99 for a full Luton, including VAT, and paid for once it has gone. The council collection works in bands of five items from the bin point, and the town's own recycling site is a community site that may charge. We take it from inside, any amount. The price is fixed before we start and paid once it has gone.
